Mrs. Mildred Stinnett Smith, age 89, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Bobby McGee will officiate, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors 12 noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born October 16, 1930, in Lewisburg, to the late Grover and Minnie Steward Stinnett. She was third generation co-owner/operator of Smith’s Foodtown, a Shelbyville landmark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Grover Stinnett, Jr., Billy Stinnett, Ronnie Stinnett, Mable Spivey, Hazel White, Aline Whitsell, Viola Beever, Ruby Burgess, and Sara Dyer.

Survivors include her husband of almost 61+ years, Rayburn Smith; a son, Todd Smith, daughters, Betty Ann Osborne, and her husband Wayne, and Sissy Smith, and her partner, Joe Bush, all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Jessica Osborne, Chelsea Clark, and her husband Brad, and Emma Smith; sisters, Wilma Reynolds, and her husband Jackie, of Murfreesboro, Bobbie June Johnson, and her husband Barry, and Jeannie Barler, and her husband Larry, all of Lewisburg.

Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
