Marshall O'neal "Kojak" Adams, age 67, passed away March 4, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loved ones according to his wishes. We called him O'neal, Big O, Pickle, and his trucking buddies knew him as Kojak. O'neil was a lifetime truck driver and owner operator after serving in the United States Army and touring in Bamburg, Germany. He will be sadly missed by many. O'neil was born the son of Tolbert Marshall Adams and Marie Callender Adams in Urainia, Louisiana on December 5, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sandra Adams Foley and her husband Loren Lee Foley, a sister Esther Adams Brazell, and a brother in law Jeffery Allen Ratcliff. He is survived by his brother Louis Adams and wife Debbie Kennon Adams of Olla, Louisiana, a sister Tina Ratcliff of Olla, Louisiana, a sister Mary "Kim" Adams Belbey and husband David Belbey of Ragley, Louisiana, a sister Toby Adams Sellers and husband Greg Sellers of Grayson, Louisiana, and a host of nieces and nephews. He loved motorcycles, but especially loved all things trucking, and nothing gave him more joy that to pilot that big yellow "large car" down the highway.

O'neal wasn't impressed by fancy things, and didn't want a fancy funeral, requesting that family and friends gather together and share memories. In honoring his wishes, we have chosen to have O'neal cremated, and will have a memorial service on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning an hour before the service.
