Charles Atturio, 78, of Warwick, died on Friday, February 28, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elaine A. (Navach) Atturio.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Peppino) Atturio.

Charles was a graduate of East Providence High School and pursued further studies at the New England Institute of Technology. He went on to work as a Specialist in Heating-Air Conditioning & Refrigeration – “HVAC” until his retirement. In addition to his work, he served as Vice President of Colony Personnel, was a member of Local 51 (Steamfitters Local) and coached baseball with the Warwick Police Athletic League.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Amedo Ucci Sr. and his wife Melissa of Warwick, Sandra Leite and her husband Michael of North Kingstown, Annmarie Palumbo of Warwick, and Lori Atturio of Warwick, his sisters, Joyce Grande and her husband Richard of Cranston and Jean Cunha and her husband Frank of East Providence, his sister-in-law, Andrea Atturio, eight grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Amedeo Jr., Elanna, Gianna, Brianna, Andrew, and Joseph, and his faithful dog Toby.

He was the brother of the late Gary Atturio.

His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11AM at Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
