Glennis Ellen Bennight, 82, of Shawnee, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Glennis, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Duke) Frisby, was born January 27, 1938, in Okmulgee. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother, and a devoted member of Evangelistic Center Church, in Shawnee, where she enjoyed singing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings.

Glennis is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Stephen and Eddie, of Shawnee, and Linda Howard and Ken of Arkansas; a son, Douglas Bennight of Michigan; grandchildren Brandy Cluck and husband Danny, Justin Bennight, Nick Howard and wife Lori, and Candace and Eric Byrd; Noah and Lillian and 6 other great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

A graveside service will be Friday, March 6, at 2:00 PM at West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, with Pastor Noah Willoughby officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
