Memorial services for Kenneth Paul Aldridge will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Mannsville Church of Christ with David Almos officiating.

Kenneth Paul Aldridge was born to Oscar T. and Jessie Morrow Aldridge in Mannsville, on Dec. 3, 1933. He joined the Marines, working in Special Services during the Korean War.

On Nov. 3, 1956, he married Doreen Bunka and they had two daughters, Brenda and Beth. He graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Riverside and was an early pioneer of the computer industry.

After graduation, he worked for Burroughs Corp. Later in life, he formed his own computer business called Dynamics, Inc. Kenneth was a system analyst and a brilliant writer. His interest in technology continued through his life, and he was a talented photographer and videographer, cataloging his family history.

He passed away on Sept. 25, 2014, in the Seattle area where he spent the last 10 years of his life with his daughter, Brenda.

He was a sports enthusiast, having had a tryout with the Boston Red Sox in his youth. Fan of both the Angels and Dodgers, he became a Seahawk fan and was able to celebrate their first Super Bowl victory as a proud 12th man.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Charlotta Fitzgerald and Mary Bass.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Aldridge and Beth Hager; his granddaughter, Laura Hager; one brother, Charles Aldridge and wife, Mary; sisters, Betty and husband, Vic Bartlett and Judy Davis and brother-in-law, James Bass; his two ex-wives, Doreen Hopf and Irene Betzel; his dog, Colby; and a large extended family. He is also a proud descendent of Jefferson Davis.
