Ovella Machen Mullikin, 90, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Stephenville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the First Assembly of God in Seymour, with Rev. James Harmon, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Wichita Falls, Texas, officiating. Interment will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mullikin was born December 8, 1924 in Clovis, N.M. to R.C. "Ted" and Alice Curry Jones. She married Charles Lee Machen in 1949. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1996. She later married Darrell Mullikin on April 29, 2004 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a hairdresser and a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Wichita Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sons, Ted Machen of Whitney, Texas, Robert Machen of Seymour, Texas, and Charles Machen of Wichita Falls, Texas; by her grandchildren, Gina Pizano of Port Orchard, Washington, Crystal O'Leary of El Paso, Texas, Michelle Schmitz of Port Orchard, Washington, Ted Bates of Albuquerque, N.M. , Crystal Latham of Seymour, Texas, Christopher Machen of Seymour, Texas, Leesa Garcia of Albuquerque, N.M., Chad Machen of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Cody Machen of Aspen, Colorado; and by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and a son, Mike Maxwell.
