born in Guilford Co., North Carolina, Jan 15, 1794; died Feb 19, 1883 of
erysipelas, and had been healthy until three weeks prior to her demise.
She had been a member of the Methodist-Episcopal church for eighty
years. She was buried beside her husband on the Hymer farm, and some
years later both were re-interred in the Serrott Cemetery five miles
south of Rushville, Ill.
