Georger was the son of Alfred Mott and Julia Treleaven. He was first married to the former Elizabeth "Beth" Askings of Tilston, Manitoba on Oct. 11, 1931. George rented the farm and moved his family to Hartney after their farm home was burned down. Beth died in 1949, leaving 3 girls, Catherine, Donna, and Marlene Mott. George worked for 16yrs. On the Manitoba, Highways . Then on Jan. 17, 1961 he had remarried to the former Rita Sutherland, daughter of late Mr. & Mrs. George Sutherland and moved to Souris, Manitoba.
