Mr. Gathright was born in Hempstead Co, AR, But had lived in Tyler for the past 14 years. He was a memeber of Masonic Lodge No. 263 of Florein, La.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Gathright; three sons, Coy and Roy Gathright both of Tyler, and Ray Gathright of Pawhuska, OK; one daughter, Mrs. L.M Pace of Wilburton, OK, two brotheres, Rev. T.R. Gathright of Marble Falls (TX) and J.E. Gathright Gurdon, AR; two sisters, Mrs. James C Billings of Memphis TN, Mrs. Frank Jenett of Pine Bluff, AR and Six granchildren.
