Frank Clay Chapman, 80, of 7606 Alyssum Drive, died Monday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a retired furniture shaper for the Kroehler Co., and a member of the Barkley Democratic Club.

Survivors: five daughters, Doris Tyler of Plano, Texas, Ann and Linda Chapman, both of Melbourne, Fla., Gloria Newman and Pheba Black; a son, Robert L. Chapman; three sisters, Irene Campbell of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Cecil Hudleston [sic] of Park City and Clairne [sic] Smith; two brothers, Russell and Clifton Chapman; 27 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
