Elsie Louise Braddy, 77, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at her home. She attended Rome Grade School, and graduated from Woodlawn High School.

On October 28, 1961, in Mt. Vernon, she married Jack Braddy, and he survives. Mrs. Braddy is survived by her husband, Jack Braddy of Mt. Vernon; three sons, Gregory Braddy, Vince Braddy and wife Karen, and Jarrod Braddy and wife Jade; three daughters, Cindy King, Stacey Reininger and husband Jason, and Julia Pate and husband Tim; Eighteen grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Trudy Hartley.
She was born August 31, 1942, in West Frankfort, Illinois, the daughter of Mort and Wilhelemine Beal. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Darryl Braddy.
