Mrs. Herman Aughe of Reynolds, Nebr., passed away Thursday, November 20, 1947, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 23 days.
Nancy Eleanor Riddle, daughter of Ferdinand and Clara Riddle, was born June 27, 1873 near Superior, Nebr.
On September 27, 1900, she married William Herman Aughe at Fairbury, Nebr., and to them eight children were born, the eldest child, Bessie Marie, dying at birth. Mrs. Aughe spent the greater part of her life in the vicinity of Reynolds.
Surviving are her husband, Herman Aughe; seven children, Wilber H. of Thornton, Calif., Thomas L. of Redding, Calif., William Verne of Reynolds, Mrs. Fae Juhl of St. Francis, Kansas, Ernest B. and Charles J. both of Flanigan, Nevada, and Carl of Lincoln; 22 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; four brothers, Wm. Riddle of Viola, Idaho, Sydney Riddle of Bartlett, Nebr., Jack Riddle of Eaton, Kansas, and Harold Riddle of Reynolds, Nebr., and by one sister, Miss Mary Riddle of Hastings, Nebr.
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at Traum's Funeral Home with Rev. F. H. Stephenson, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Burial in the Fairbury cemetery.
