Miss Mary Jane Riddle passed away Sunday, July 8, 1956, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 24 days, at the home of her brother, Harold Riddle in Reynolds, Nebr.
Miss Riddle retired about two months ago from her position at the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings, where she had been employed the past 12 years.
Mary Jane Riddle, the daughter of Ferdinand and Clara Everhart Riddle, was born near Beatrice, Neb., Sept. 14, 1875. She had lived in the Chester, Hubbell, and Reynolds area most of her life.
Surviving are her brother, Harold of Reynolds, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Reynolds with Rev. E. C. Moore of Fairbury officiating. Burial in the Reynolds cemetery.
She worked as a nurse in Hastings NE. Most likely died from an Un-diagnosed bleeding ulcer.
