Robert D. Baker, 54, of Spotsylvania died Thursday at Mary Washington Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha May Baker; a son, Robert D. Baker Jr. of Fredericksburg; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Robert F. Baker of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Alton D. Baker and Roland F Baker, both of Fredericksburg; and a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Soltes of Woodford.
His body is at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this morning.

Mr. Baker, a resident of Spotsylvania County was a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church.
