Albert "Richie" Maye, age 82, of Wausaukee, WI, died peacefully at home on Saturday January 25, 2020. He was born in Crivitz, WI on July 15, 1937; son of the late Roman and Helen (Garczynski) Maye.
Richie was united in marriage to Marie Naud on May 31, 1958, at the White Rapids Church in Amberg, WI.
Richie always had a strong work ethic. He owned and operated Albert Maye Forest Products and drove truck for many years. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, working on vehicles especially demolition cars, and spending time with family and friends.
Richie is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marie;
six children: April (John "Beater") Benjamin of Wausaukee, WI; Audy (Marcy) of Pembine, WI; Wanda (Mike) Kelly of Appleton, WI; Trent (Becky) of Coleman, WI; Tyann (Kevin Carter) Maye of Wausaukee, WI and Faron (Tina) of Wausaukee, WI;
11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren;
his two siblings: Donald "Whitey" of Pound, WI and Patsy (Ralph) Orlando of Wausaukee, WI;
many nieces, nephews;
and a special friend, Karen.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas, Robert, Edward and Roman Jr. and his sister Cecelia Chapman.
There will be a graveside service this spring with the time to be announced.
