He was a Shriner, past patron of the Humble Chapter OES, master Mason and charter member of the Melrose Lodge. A Deacon of the above church. Employed as a sales representative of the company which he owned.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Johnson of Rockdale; son, Lonzo Johnson, III, of Humble; 2 daughters, Nora Gay Meyers of San Marcos, Judy Ellen Smith of Houston; 2 brothers, Robert R. Johnson of Houston and Woodrow Johnson of Boling; 4 sisters, Fay Hill of Fletcher, Louise Curlee of Boling, Augusta Zarfas of Lubbock and Jane Ferguson of Bay City; 4 grandchildren.

William Ernest Kirk Johnson.
The Correction Affidavit was not filed until 19 March 1942 by his mother, Nora Baird Johnson. The original certificate showed that he was the 5th of 5 living children born to his parents. The correction affidavit shows he was the 7th of 7.
