CLARK, W. W. (Bill) of San Gabriel. Age 60. Died 2/3/1965 (Wed.) in a Cameron hospital following a 2-week illness. Services held (Friday) 2:00 p.m. from Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in the Locklin Cemetery. Rev. W.R. Parmer officiated. He was known to his many friends as "Bill".

Son of the late Jim and Mattie Worley Clark and was BORN 1/16/1905 in Milam County. On 6/2/1923 he married Miss Hazel Moore. He had owned and operated a garage and service station at San Gabriel for many years. He was a fine man who made friends easily and his untimely passing will leave a great void in the lives of all that were privileged to know him. Member of the Methodist Church since childhood.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Hazel; 2 sons, Billy B. Clark and J.A. (Gus) Clark both of Houston; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Blackmon of Victoria; 2 sisters, Mrs. N.E. (Bess) Alford of Rockdale and Mrs. George (Mattie) Andrews of Houston; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
