Baker, Margie Evelyn Of Mt. Morris, age 96, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in Flushing. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2015, at Trinity Baptist Church, Flushing. Pastor Seth Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Rossell Funeral Home and Monday 10-11 a.m. at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church. Margie was born in Windsor, Illinois, on December 9, 1918, the daughter of John and Eula (Helpingstine) Buckley. She was married to Eyvin "Al" Baker on June 13, 1954. Margie worked 22 years with General Motors on Coldwater Road. She was a member of UAW Local 326 and a long time member at Trinity Baptist Church, Flushing. Margie is survived by her husband, Eyvin; children, Robert (Barbara) Childers, Linda (Gilbert) Burns, Jeff (Deborah) Baker; grandchildren, Amanda and Tim Baker, Wendy Hatch, Steve and Shelia Childers, Brian Childers, Tony Childers, Misty, Kimberly, Michael Todd McConnaha; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; brothers; daughter, Eula McConnaha; son, Randy "Alan" Childers; grandson, Alan Lynn Childers.
