Excitement, Not Bullet, Caused Death of Hunter
MALONE, N.Y., Oct. 19.
The excitement of the hunt is believed to have caused the death of Herman Goettel, Central Square, who died near St. Regis Falls yesterday.
Goettel's lifeless body was found on a trail near a hunting camp late last night by his hunting companions who began a search when he did not show up for supper. Dr. C.T. Coulter, of Malone, examined the body and said a heart attack caused Goetel's death. E. A. Cargill, coroner, today gave a verdict
of death due to natural causes.
Goettel had gone into the woods hunting for deer
