Gould G. Goettel

CENTRAL SQUARE - Gould G. Goettel, 81, of West Monroe, died Monday at a local nursing home. He was a life resident of the Central Square area.

He was a member of Central Square Masonic Lodge 622, and a charter member of the Syracuse Carpenters Union. Mr. Goettel was an employee of E.W. Edwards Co. in Syracuse for 48 years.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas of Arizona and Maynard Goettel of Buffalo; six daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Vautrin and Mrs. Jackie Willmer, both of West Monroe, Mrs. Fern Wildrick of Brewerton, Mrs. Kathleen Charbonneau of Moira, Mrs. Betty Bettinger of Central Square and Mrs. Kitty Acome of Roscoe; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandcildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m Thursday at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital.
