Funeral services for Mrs. Loyla Daniel, 69, who died Saturday in the local hospital after a long illness, were held yesterday in the chapel of the McGowan Funeral Home. Burial followed in Sunset Hill.
The rites were conducted by the Rev. Homer W. Haislip.
During the services Mellville Harris sang two songs, When they Ring Those Golden Bells and Have Thine Own Way. Miss Marsha Harris was at the piano.
Pallbearers were Charles Reid, William Clary, Russell Simpson, George Rountree, R. W. Stevens, Clement Green and R. W. Lassinter.
