Mrs. Foster, the widow of "Dock" Foster, was a retired LPN with Dr. William D. Payne. She was a native of Tappahannock, Va., and a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Richard C. Foster of Norfolk; a sister, Ruby Stone of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Robin Woodell. Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, is in charge.
