Margaret A. Small

Former Longview resident Margaret A. Small died Oct. 3, 1987, in Fallbrook, Calif., at the age of 70. She was born Jan. 6, 1917, at Atchison, Kan.

Mrs. Small worked as a loan officer at First Federal Savings and Loan in Longview for 12 years. She had made her home in Sun City, Calif. for the past eight years, moving there from Longview.
Her husband, Earl Small, survives her at their home in Sun City. Also surviving are a daughter, Darlene Oslund of Fallbrook; a son, Earl Small Jr. of Castle Rock; two sisters, Marie Halstenberg of Kansas City, Mo., and Irene Masters of Harlington, Texas; a brother, Herman Schmeling of Pueblo, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Perris, Calif. Interment will follow at Perris Cemetery.
Friends who wish to express sympathy may contribute to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 555 N. Perris Road, Perris, Calif.

She may have been disinterred from Perris Cemetery and reinterred in Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery with her husband. The memorial at Perris doesn't have a photo attached. I'm going to check with the sexton to make certain whether she's in Fallbrook or not.
