William Fate McCall, 87, Saltillo, died Tuesday at Western State Hospital after an illness of four years.
Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cornith Methodist Church near Saltillo. Burial in the Cornith Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. McCall was born in Decatur County and was a member of the Corinth Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. J. R. McCormick of Blytheville, Arkansas, Mrs. H. L. Singleton of Saltillo and Mrs. R. L. Snider of Scotts Hill; a son, Richard McCall of Caruthersville, Missouri; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie West of Henderson and Mrs. Dora Holley of Oklahoma.
Fate McCall was a farmer all his life.
