Mrs. Flossie McCormick, 83, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Blytheville, died Saturday at the home of her daughter in Springfield.


She was born in Tennessee and moved to Blytheville in 1939. She was the daughter of William Lafayette (Fate) McCall and Nancy Franklin (Kelley) McCall.


She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church.


She was the widow of James Robert (J.R.) McCormick. They were married March 29, 1915, Decatur Co, TN.


She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mabell (McCormick) Wicker and Mrs. Bonnie Nell (McCormick) Lewis, both of Springfield, Mrs. Virginia Lee (McCormick) Austin and Mrs. Mary Pauline (McCormick) Hrabovsky, both of Blytheville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by two sons, James Edward McCormick and Lafayette Neal McCormick.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Leon Brassfield officiating, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
