Sharon Sue Williams of Maysville was born on July 10, 1940 in Evansville, Indiana to Allen Wilson Echols and Ethel Estelle (Hall) Echols. She passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in Maysville at the age of 79 years.

Sharon grew up in Eunice, New Mexico where she graduated from Eunice High School and attended East Central University, Ada, Oklahoma. She was a skilled pianist and while in college she was trained as a concert pianist. Sharon and Colin “Chic” Williams were together for 17 years. She worked as a Walmart Associate in El Reno, OK for 10 years before retiring. She loved her family and they were very important to her. Sharon enjoyed her cats, watching westerns, antiquing, and collecting trinkets. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include her daughter, Susan McCoy and husband Donald of Purcell and her son, Duane Allen Duke and wife Dianna of Harrah. 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ethel Echols; husband, Colin Williams; brother, Bob Echols; and sister, Nyda Womack.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 24, 2020 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK with Bro. Aaron Hembree officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery
