Carolus Featherston wrote his will March 30, 1830. The will was produced for probate in Franklin County court April term of 1830. He named sons; Robert, James, William, Jeremiah, Burrell, Charles and John Featherston and daughters, Elizabeth Russell and Sally Wilkinson. His wife Lucy was not named.
