WASOLA- Services for Bertha Agnes Lafferty, Wasola, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in Stillings Cemetery.
Mrs. Lafferty, a nurses' aide, died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, in her daughter's home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Bertha Agnes Lafferty Services Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Bertha Agnes Lafferty, 83, of Wasola, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Clinkingbeard Chapel with the Revs. Randy Dalton and Dwain Moore officiating. Burial was in Stillings Cemetery.

A housewife and nurses' aide, Mrs. Lafferty, died at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 6, 1995, at the home of a daughter, Lodene Hammons, at Wasola.

She was a member of Mansfield First Baptist Church.

Born April 24, 1911, at Highlonesome, she was the daughter of John D. and Barbara Ellen Applegate Nelson. On July 12,1929, she was married at Ongo, Mo., to Ellis T. Lafferty. He preceded her in death in 1977.

Surviving are four daughters, Lodene Hammons, Wasola, Ethel Johnson, Brighton, Ellen Marie Stafford, Davenport, Iowa, and Ruby LaJuene, Patterson, La.; three sons, Joe Lafferty, Breeden, Melvis Lafferty, McClurg and Melvin Lafferty, Springfield, one sister, Dora Maggard, Ongo; 41 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
