Leonard L. Bauman, 70, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. His funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 24 at First Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. His visitation starts at 5:00 PM Thursday, January 23 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Leonard Lee Bauman, son of Robert and Naomi (Meyer) Bauman, was born February 25, 1949 in Hendricks, MN.
Leonard was united in marriage with Linda Searcy on May 22, 1971 in Milbank, SD. The couple resided in Watertown, SD for many years. In 1979, they moved to Sioux Falls, SD where they raised their four children.
Leonard enjoyed outdoor activities, attending car shows, painting, helping his children with projects and spending time with his grandchildren. Leonard will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
