Daughter of John W. Brown and his wife Rebecca. Nancy was three years old in 1850, making her birth year 1847 rather than 1843, as was reported on her death certificate.

Nancy married first James Funderburk on 4 August 1863 at Macoupin Co., Illinois. They had one daughter, Mary A. Funderburk.

Married second to a Mr. Wooten.

Married Benjamin Ping November 5, 1871 at Barry county, Missouri. The 1900 and 1910 censuses both reported Nancy was the mother of eleven children, with eight living.

Missouri Death Certificate #1720.

D. C. says her husband was John Ping. I believe this was an error.
