Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Faye Ewton, New Iberia, Louisana, who died Tuesday at the Sayre hospital following an extended illness were held in the United Methodist church Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marvin Nelson, Lawton, and Rev. Gordon Patterson officiating.
Born February 8, 1911 at Harrisburg, Arkansas, Mrs. Ewton came to Beckham county with her parents when a child and resided here until 1952, when they moved to Louisiana. She was married to Clarence Ewton in 1929 in Hobart. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Dewitt Kiener, Sayre, three grandsons, Lonnie, Joe and Johnny Kiener, Sayre.
Pallbearers were J. B. Kiener, Wilbur Carnahan, Walter Kiener, Lonnie Foshee, Bennie Hocker, and J. C. Woods.
Committal was in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery with the Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
