Wayne Darrell Broughton 71 of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Ashland, passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 at Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

Wayne was born December 19, 1948 in Ashland to the late James Morton and Laura Frances Qualls Broughton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers James Broughton Jr. and Carl Norman Broughton.

Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a former Elevator Repairman with ACME Elevator.

Wayne leaves behind two sons Patrick Broughton and Randall Broughton both of Columbus; two daughters Angela Lones and Danielle Estep both of Columbus; two sisters Laura June Ison of Paris and Carolyn Louise Clark of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Dixon Cemetery in Westwood. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army and Kenova American Legion Post 93. Arrangements are under the direction of Caniff Funeral Home.
