Mrs. Seymour was born in Texas and moved to Greenville in February 1968. She worked as a decorator at Sears and Conway Decorators for several years and was also a substitute teacher at Greenville Christian School for approximately 12 years. Mrs. Seymour and her husband had Clayton Seymour Allstate Insurance Agency where she was office manager. Mrs. Seymour was a member of South Main Church of Christ where she served as bookkeeper for several years.
She was a member of the Associated Women for Harding and was a member of Sweet Adolines singing group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clifford Dees and Linda Mae Brock Dees and by her 10 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton Geist Seymour; two daughters, Cathy Sue Sanders of Horn Lake and Sherri Lynn Scott (Steve) of Merritt Island, FL; son, Clayton G. Seymour, Jr. (Melody) of Greenville; 6 grandchildren, Randy Sanders, Raymond Sanders, Jennifer Dunn (Tony), Trey Seymour, Kyle Scott and Ashli Scott; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
