News Examiner - October 2, 1922

Mrs Jesse Cregar, age 32, died this morning at 2:40 am at the home of her sister, Mrs Thomas Johnson of Indianapolis. Death resulted from an attack of typhoid fever which Mrs Cregar contracted while visiting her sister. The body was brought here this afternoon and taken to the Cregar home, 908 Lincoln avenue.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p, at the First Methodist church, Dr J W McFall officiating. Burial will be in Daleview.
Surviving members of the immediate family are the husband and three children, Paul, William and Bernice. Mrs Cregar resided in Greenburg before her marriage. Her maiden name was Miss Lottie Roby.
