Mrs Tom (Carrie) Johnson, 64, a former resident of Letts, passed away Monday at the St Vincent's hospital at Indianapolis. Her death was due to a heart attack.
Born at Maysville, W. Va., on June 7, 1885, she was the daughter of Gabriel and Ann Roby. She resided at Letts for a number of years, before locating at indianapolis. She will be remembered by many residents of the Letts community.
The survivors are: Four brothers, Guy Roby, of Frankfort, Arch Johnson and Clarence Johnson, of Charleston, Ill, and A. William Johnson, of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Mrs Lucille Siefkie, of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs Lana Richards, of Letts.
Funeral rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Flanner and Buchanan mortuary at Indianapolis. Burial will be made there.
