Albert Murrell Buried at Ater

Coryell County lost another of its hard-working old-time farmers Sunday afternoon in the passing of Albert Horace Murrell, 88, a native and life long resident of this County, Mr. Murrell died at his home near Jonesboro.

Final Rites were held Monday at Scott's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Horace Poteet. Burial was in the Ater Cemetery, and pallbearers were Love Young, Tenie Williams, Melvin Weaver, Osar Weaver, Truitt Lightsey and Claude Ferguson.

A member of the Methodist Church, Mr. Murrell was married to Miss Amy Sneed, who preceded him death. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Henry Young of Jonesboro, Mrs. R.C. Lane of Whitney and Mrs. E.L. Money of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
