Funeral services for Paul Wayne Bonds, 61, were held Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating.
Interment followed in Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett.
Mr. Bonds died Saturday, Jan. 5, in Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss.
He was born Feb. 1, 1940 in Madisonville, the son of Joseph and Lenora Gibson Bonds, both of whom preceded him in death.
Mr. Bonds was with the City of Houston Police Department for 22 years, a Harris County Precinct 1 constable from 1993 to 1999 and a member of Masonic Park Place Lodge No. 1172 since 1964.
He married Annatta Meadows on July 2, 1960 in Leggett.
Survivors include his wife, Annatta; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Wayne and Linda Bonds of Houston, Guy and Wendy Bonds of Crosby and Dusty and Jennifer Bonds of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Willie Osborne of Houston; grand-daughters, Brittany Osborne of Houston, Courtney Bonds of Dayton and Kari Bonds of Dayton; grandsons, Christopher Bonds, Noah Bonds and Kyle Bonds, all of Crosby; brother, Occie Bonds of Montgomery; sister, Maxine Meadows of Leggett and mother-in-law, Beatrice Meadows of Livingston.
