Mr. Amar Wanton, age 45 of Raleigh, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at his home. Amar, as was affectionately known, never met a stranger and was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. Amar was an adventurist who loved to travel, fish and seized every opportunity possible to mentor the younger generation.
October 12, 2013, during the Autumn Leaves Festival, Rhonda Flippen filled Amar's heart with joy by agreeing to become his wife. A year later, during a beautiful double-ring ceremony, Amar and Rhonda publicly expressed their love for each another and officially became Mr. and Mrs. Amar Wanton. From that day until he was called to rest, Amar and Rhonda proudly acknowledged their love for one another and Amar would quickly say "Bro, I couldn't let her get away she's the best thing to ever happen to me".
