Lurline is a daughter of Levi Henry Long and Lilla Ann Haddock. She married Jesse William Minson in Paris, Idaho on January 13, 1915. They became parents to two children: Ruth and John Raleigh. The two children were raised by relatives after their parents' deaths in the influenza epidemic.
