Abner Jean (78) of Brockton died January 3rd in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Lisline (Lindor) Jean.
He was born in Cayes, Haiti and was a court judge in his native country. Abner was a faithful member of the Haitian 7th Day Adventiste Church, enjoyed reading, playing dominoes and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 6 daughters, Marie Claudia Pierre, Cathleen Auguste both of Brockton, Lunide Pierre-Canel of Middleboro, Adnia Michel of Fitchburg, Sophia Jean and Roslaine (Yaya) Jean both of Haiti, 4 sons, Wesner, Rubens and Peter Jean all of Brockton and Ricardo Jean of Holbrook, many grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services in the 7th Day Adventiste de Brockton Church, 237 Court Street Brockton Sunday January 12th at 10 am. Visitation in the Church from 9 am prior to services. Graveside Services Monday January 13th in Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street Brockton at 12 Noon.
