Mr. Roger Dale Allen, 69, died Nov. 23, 2019.
Mr. Allen was born Aug. 8, 1950, in Lewisburg. He had his own business doing concrete work. He is preceded in death by parents, Louise Chapman and Robert Carter Allen; brothers, Robert Larry Allen, James Wendell Allen, Ronnie Allen; sister Dorothy Durkin; and son Roger Lee Allen.

Known to family and friends as "Dale" His running joke was the nickname he gave himself Superman"
Loved Muscle Cars, Hunting, fishing.
Dale was a "Hellion" and his wild antics were laughed about for decades.
Looked quite a bit like Robin Williams, and he had a good sense of humor.
Even with the faults he had, you just couldn't help but like him ----said by many.
Good Cook, Always cooking beans and cornbread!
My Favorite Uncle ...he was 11 yrs younger then my Mom, so we spent a lot of time together when I was very young and living in TN with my Mom and her family while my Dad was in Alaska at a remote Navy Base.
Dale realized he was not just an Uncle, he was our babysitter, he did a great job of it..
He WAS very good at pouring concrete, At one time, he worked with his older brother in NC...A "Family" Business.
He lived with Mom, then me in Maryland after NC..and he still worked hard in the Construction Business.
I honestly thought he would live to an old age.... this is still too raw for me.....
Uncle Dale, forever loved and missed.
