She was the widow of the Rev. Fred Allfree of Tunbridge Wells and died at 27 Brockman Road, Folkestone. She was the daughter of Henry Cheesman of Faulkeners, Hadlow. She was buried on the 22nd May 1891, aged 64. Her sister, Annesley Cheesman was later buried with her. In 1871 and 1881 she was running a school at Rose Hill, Tonbridge. In 1881 she had over 20 pupils.
