Married to Connie in 1960 and later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Papa is now reunited with our sweet "Oma" Papa served for over 42 years in the Air National Guard and was able to travel many places. He retired in 2009 but was still able to go to Hill Air Force Base to have lunch and play cards with his buddies.
Papa loved visiting with people whether he knew them or not, in fact Oma hesitated sending him to the store because it took him forever, all because he struck up a conversation with someone.
He always had a kind and loving heart and was known by many as Santa Claus. For over 35 years families invited him into their homes to help remind children, young and old, about the true meaning of Christmas. He would lovingly bear testimony of the blessings of the gospel and the unconditional love our Savior has for us. Reminding all that life is busy but we should always take time for our loved ones.
We love you Papa!
