A native of Marion, Illinois, he was born January 28, 1915, to Ezra and Josephine Fern Thompson Davis, and had lived in Reno since 1980, coming from Hayward, California.
Davis was a retired press operator for a pre-fabricating business. He was a member of United Aerospace and Machinist Union and a World War II and Korean War Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joseph Vernell and John T. Davis.
Surviving are his widow, Ritsuko, of Reno, NV, son Jake of Sparks, and John of Hayward; daughter, Jackie Robertson of Brentwood, California; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, Jan 22nd, at O'Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home. Cremation will be at Sierra Cremation by the direction of the funeral home.
