Mrs. Nancy Whitaker died in her 86th year, having lived with her husband more than sixty-eight years. Mrs. Whitaker was the mother of sixteen children, who all lived to be men and women. Ten of them witnessed the death of their mother. Their were children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren standing around her dying couch."
