From the Crittenden County Ky., Court order Book 11, page 35, Dec. 24, 1895 – It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from evidence of Dr. J. N. Todd & others, that Mrs. Harriet D. Towery departed this life at the residence of D. M. Utley in this County on the 4th day of Nov. 1893 leaving no husband or minor children surviving her and no state whatever and it appearing from said evidence that J. R. Towery bore the expenses of her last illness and burial amounting to the sum of $37.00 which is shown by vouchers exhibited to the court. and the court deems this reasonable.
