For the majority of her life, she was a homemaker. Lillie found enjoyment in gardening, particularly roses and tomatoes. Her greatest pleasure was found in her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Jacob Hicks Jr. in August 2009, and her son P. David Hicks in September 2014. Also preceding her in death are three brothers: John, Hillus, and Richard Conrad, and four sisters: Edna Hicks, Julia Windsor, Pearl Conrad, and her twin, Lula Haga.
She is survived by her daughter Betty Taylor; son Bob Hicks; daughter-in-law Betty Hicks; granddaughters Sarah (Stephen) Katsamas and Amy (Jared) Gavin; great-granddaughters McKinlei Katsamas, Emily Gavin, and Charlotte Gavin; great-grandson Jared Gavin II.
