She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delton; her youngest son, Samuel Joe Lester.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sisters, Donna Pflanz of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mary Malench of Edwardsville, Illinois; three sons, Dale Lester (Angel) of Norfolk, Virginia, Axel Lester (Nikkie), Derek Lester (Candy) of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Peggy lived in the Mountain View area for over 32 years and graduated from Mountain View High School as the Salutatorian for the class of 1956. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri after high school and worked for Phillips Petroleum Company. Peggy’s faith as a Jehovah’s Witness was the center of her life.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2019, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri with Alva Watts officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary Chapel, Mountain View, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
