The Arizona Death Certificate (available at ancestry.com) states he died of tuberculosis. I assume that is why he had moved from Louisiana as it was believed a drier climate would be helpful.

Published in the Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) on Saturday 13 November 1920:

Domenico Schwartzenburg

Domenico Schwartzenburg, a resident of this city a year and a half died yesterday at a local hospital. He leaves a widow. He was a member of the carpenters' union here. The body will lie in state in the H. M. Maus chapel this afternoon and will be sent to Alexandria, La. for burial.

According to the 1920 Census, his wife's name was "Florence". I don't know any more about her.
