Clara B. Grafton, 93, of Loogootee, passed from this life at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Clara was born July 26, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana to the late John and Mabel (Royal) Hostetter.
She married Dale L. Grafton on March 2, 1947 in Elnora, Indiana.
Clara was a past member of the Shoals Eastern Star #368 and a 50-year member of the Martin County Extension Homemakers. She was previously employed at Perfect Fit in Loogootee, Indiana for over 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Grafton; daughter, Sue Ann Garner; 1 great-granddaughter, Amanda Grafton; her parents, John and Mabel Hostetter; 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
Clara is survived by her son, Roy Dale (Beth Ann) Grafton of Loogootee; daughter, Carol Jane (Tim) Hastings of Elnora; son-in-law, Roy E. Garner of Ladson, SC; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 1 brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2019 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
